Introducing along side legendary bands from Wales such The lost Prophets.. Here is The Blackout. They are an awesome band... i was at one of their gig in a local bar in Cardiff... and they caught my attention. If you like The Used... my opinion they are quite similar in way except they are one of a kind. They are Welsh and they play great music. Listen to their songs and you will know what i mean. Songs such as The Beijing Cocktail and Its High tide baby are one of the frequent songs i listen to.

2007

The Days in 2007... I Guess it Has Been a Good Year For Me... Though there were a lot of UPs and DOWNs, i believed it happened for a reason. Getting the Scholarship was the most grateful thing i would appreciate most.

In Less than 24 hours, 2007 will be behind us... It amazes me how time flies so fast as i have been encountering flashbacks of the past in the days of 2007. I will always be forever grateful for the joyful events that happened in 2007. There are things that happened that i am not proud of... and there are some things that happened to me and the others around me that i could never forgive myself for letting it happen.

I have been through a lot this year and i am thankful to have friends that is always around to help me get through it. I am forever in your debt. The relationship we have is absolutely priceless. i now know where i belong... (not exactly i knew about it from the very start)

i lie awake on my bed reminiscing the times the gang and i spend together laughing our wits off from silly jokes. Good times, Good times... =)

and Guess What...

The year 2008 is just around the corner... =/

Things That I Learned Today.

Just a couple of things i learned while spending the day at home in front of the telly.

• Bert and Ernie from sesame street are actually gay.
• The living room sofa is the best place to spend an unproductive day.
• The clock in my living room is busted.
• Monopoly Money isn't real money.
• You can actually really get soo bored that your brain slaps itself for being useless.
• Your fart only smells rosy to yourself.
• I HAVE THE BESTEST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! =) (well i didn't just realize this today but i just wanted say it)
  
• It'll be 2008 in a few days, and 2007 is about to end.
  

This has been a great year for me, i can't wait for the next. =)

Drought

Im bumming around the house. I've left footsteps on every single walkable isle in this sweet place called home. And im continously yawning. I'm so bored i'm counting the number of times i've yawned this evening. It's still early and i'm already getting to 20. Accesibility of food is close to being nil. So after sending the Main Man in the household to this occasion that i actually have to attend but, im not due to some reasons i'd rather not mention(nothing important!:P ..to you at least). But a good thing.

Getting back to this boring post, i'm happy. I'm walking around with a crown on my head, and i dont even have to put myself on a pedestal to do so. I'm just your ordinary cab driver. And i took cutie for a ride in my deathcab.

The song thats currently playing on my iTunes is Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World. I have just discovered, that you are bound to get high just by listening to this song! Prove me wrong! Download it now! I dare you! I'm high-per! HIGH + HYPER!

Imagine this scene, where you are munching on KFC's Zinger. And the song is playing. I can promise you your eyelids will automatically fail you. The melody,.... ARGH!! Beautifully done with a twist of your drug of choice~.

BC5 had a game tadi, and it was so and so. I had to leave early unfortunately. I only played the first half of the game. Apparently, there was a fight. And all i can say is:

Hargropes is Fine People!

As Birthday Boy browses~

Not a normal BC5 Tuesday. An unexpected event occurred today. Unfortunately, an uninvited tragedy.
We were having our daily laughter festivals. Today, Pizza Hut became the host of our loud crowd and hysterical laughters. Sunshine's birthday, the main reason for the special location for the gathering.
Dude~ let me text my girl man~

The attendance was welcoming as the not so fancy place was about to be thrashed by the trashiest young guns in the neighbourhood. Im talking about hardcore jokes and mockings that one is bound to face.
As these blokes were enjoying lunch, their greed were filled with satisfaction on three large pans. And most definitely, three jugs of the best form of drink, dark coloured, and definitely a cool crush ice killa!
Sunshine received a horrifying text on his phone.

'Kamu taruskan saja makan, aku accident.'

Hargropes!!! We jumped off our seats and rushed out of the Hut...
Unfortunately that wasn't the scene, we left a few slices for Hargropes, licked the plates till they shine and settled the bills. You'd think BC5's car engines would be instantly started and up away we go~, but again we gave ourselves some time to finish one magic stick.
Well, we wouldn't have been so calm and relaxed if Hargropes didn't make it seem like it was no big of a deal. Apparently, Sunshine called him back..
So, we went off to the scene. And, just the sight got us shattered. The laughters silenced in a split second. We stormed out of the car to see if dude was fine.
He seemed to be still in shock while explaining to the PO-PO what happened. I managed to catch what he was trying to say.

"Aku di lane sebalah kanan and was going at a reasonable speed. Well isn't the reason to be in the lane is to overtake. Then dumbass from the left lane mengajut, so i was trying to save him and my own ass and reflex got me to change directions. I bet he has no side mirrors!!

And that caused me to spin and hit the lamp post and landed on the other side."

The back of his car was a mess. The rear glass is totally gone and his left back wheel was.. :S

And of course, the car has a reaction to such events as well. LOOK!
Well, from what Hargropes told us, the airbags didnt go off because of the accident.
It goes :
" Airbag atu alum kluar wah tu masa aku accident. Ya masa tebranti , kepaningan sudah bepusing, aku nampak kerita yang kurang ajar atu. Jauh pulang and ya branti seminit....*pauses*, datu zoom tia! Yatah aku marah, ku tumbuk tia steering wheel atu."(YOU WISH!!!:P)

His arm was feeling a little numb so we got him to the hospital and got a check up. Well the police requested that we bring him to the Emergency Room~(ER theme song plays). So me and Sunshine cleared the opening and shouted 'MINGGGGIIIIIIRRRRRR!!!!'. And moved everyone that was in our way.
Again, that wasn't the real scene. We saw a guy with an axe stuck to his skull filling out a form. :P
The sighs.
Well, Hargropes was fine. And we couldn't be more than thankful for that. After 2 hours of being stuck in the hospital, we decided ti follow our hearts to check out wardrobe store. BENCH :D, a lot of things caught my attention.
It was a challenge on my self control. Because i seriously can't afford to keep poking my ATM card to the devil's machine. Not until i have to.

Well some of us couldnt resist the temptation of getting ourselves new clothing. So we went for a fag.
Then, all thats left for us to do is just kick balls in the rain.

LePomme's Boring Holidays

There is NOTHING to do! I repeat, NOTHING! So, i decided to do something that ive never done before! Share! Share my daily trade offs. No worries, because the opportunity cost of me writing this post is just being bored and i'm good with that. So now, i give you my vision, Mr Apples' daily decision making and also torture! Below are just pictures that can depict my daily life.
Im so bored, that i wouldn't mind being in conniption.

Cigarettes and my Mac. They go together, for me at least. The source of light in my nightlife. 'Smoking Kills', the label often ignored by individuals. Smokers alike. Funny how they say its geared to the youth when it applies to all ages. Yes! Smoking does kill! But what doesn't? I'd stop but you shouldn't have made it so addictive! Stupid inventor of magic sticks!


You rarely see me walk around without these things in either hand.
The phone, communicates me to people, effectively. Here's what we do when we're bored to death. We stare at the longing to be touched phone on the tabletop. With hopes for it to ring. And in our minds, we scream 'RING GOTS DAMN! RIIINNGGG!!! I DONT CARE IF ITS A PERSON WHO GOT THE WRONG NUMBER! RIIIINGGG!!'

Went to the Marriot hotel to pick up my visiting cousins this morning, while waiting for them i went out to smoke.. done.. went back into the lobby and in font of me like 10 m away was... wait for it... DARTH VADER!!!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!! accompanied by 8 of his best storm troopers!!! it was like love at first sight... hahahahaha nadawahh~ it was really darth vader in full blown outfits. it was awesome man. Turns out there was a star wars convention at the hotel. i was in shock and then Mr.Darth Vader went passed my gaping mouth and i didn't even take a picture!! gots dam.. hahaha.. but two of his storm troopers stayed to guard the door, soo i did what any star wars fan would do ( or anyone for that matter) i took a picture with him.. :) it's better than nothing, no?

Inside his mask, i bet you guys that he's making a stupid face. hahahahaha

one down.

One term down.. lots more to go~ i've got one month to relax and sit in front of the tv. =) wohoo!! haha.. last las couple of days has been hectic to say the least. Spent the whole of wednesday, thursday and part of the wee hours of friday completing my assignment. we had to do an extension to an existing house, draw a floor plan, a section through the extension and an elevation. All hand drawn!!! and i've never hand any experience doing it.. had little practice during studio time thought but they weren't enough, but once i finished them i was proud of them =) *pats self on head* "good boyyyyy~ " hahahaha... apakan.. anyways almost missed the deadline to hand in the work on friday coz i fell asleep.. thank god my sister woke me up.

After i handed that in i was pretty happy with my self and was about to relax when i realised that i had a train to catch at 5pm and it's 11 am alreadyy and i havent packed. Ever had the feeling that you days just fly by ?? well i get that more often than not... =S it seems like time is purposefully fast forwarded just to punish me. for what reasons? i cant say~ *sigh* soo i packed and hauled my tired ass to london.

There was a football tournament in london and atiq invited me to play with the rest. I havent played football in a while but i was gonna play with my closest friends.. how can i say no to that? here is how i see it ( fav.friends + fav.sport in the whole widest biggest round[like a ball] world = FUN FUN FUN) :P hahahah.. we had a training match against BOCA, an awesome and fun team to play with, an hour after i arrived.. i was excited at first but three minutes into the game and i was wheezing like a rubber ducky!!! talk about being unfit!.. hahahah

Anyways we finally went back to aziz's place at about 2am, after some long waiting and playing something i call, the eternal search of *friends name here* hahahahaha. That is how we are as a group.. we would say we'd be there by this time but someone would somehow slip away unnoticed and ending up delaying.. hahaha i confess that i have also been the one that slips away~ :P

The next day, the day of the tournament, wasn't what i hoped for.. we were placed in the group of death and as evidence of that we lost all 4 games of the group stage. i was pretty down that night, my head was thumping, my joints and muscles were stiff and i had to go back to cardiff that same night. hahahah.. i was at the point of just jumping in front of an oncoming car!! hahaha but as you can see i didn't =) well yeah, grabbed a bite to eat and ran to the station, jumped on a train and guess what? there were no seats left!!! why am i not surprised~ hahah So i walked up the train and when i passed this area between carriages when i saw someone sitting down on the floor, hmm that looks fun, soo i followed not realising that i was sitting in front of the entrence to the toilet. :) it couldn't get any worse than that =) and it didn't.. found a place to sit a couple of stops later and rode silently the rest of the way back home..

Which kind of RED are you?

The most anticipated match in the Barclays Premier league season. Like every other season, tonight's encounter shouldn't be any different. No matter how a results are gonna be, the match has never been a disappointment. Anfield is the venue for tonights match. But in most cases, its the tv screen that will catch the eyes of football lovers.
Always a historic event went these titans clash. Friends end up hitting one another. Or one might see a tough muscular guy cry and finish a whole jug of Erdinger beer in replacement of his tears.
One advice, stay sober! Things you wouldn't wanna miss:
1) Ronaldo gettin them boys to dance..
2) Gerrard's screamer cannonball..
3) Sir Alex's red inner devil struggling to get out
4) Rafa's continuous gum munching
5) hot chicks in the stand

Today is a beautiful day, and i would like to thank the sun for shining bright. :)

I had a gig last night, and it was alryt. That's all i could say. The singers got a little disturbed with one of the songs where it didn't feel right. Incorporate Behaviour, that was good enough for me. Thanks for the night.

But the rest of the night? How should i rate it? There were pretty much ups and downs for me. The fluctuations made it a mediocre night. And like past few nights i've been having. I stayed up late. It's not like i have school.
I was expecting to get off bed late due to it being a Sunday. But mother, my beloved mother, decided to surprise me with her knocking that struck as early as 7 a.m.. Yes Ladies and gentlemen, not a good sign. Let me tell you about myself. I cant describe how happy i feel when i put a smile on my her face. The light just got brighter. But at the expense of my beauty sleep. While helping out, i literally lost skin. i'll stop at that.

I can tell you two things that made my night:
1)The last post by Hafiz. Seriously, How can you not notice?! Its 'OUT THERE'!
2)Letters of the Alphabet on my Macbook.

There are a couple of other things, but just undetermined. :)

Insomnimaniac

I cant sleep~... hmmm... what should i do to get myself to sleep? I guess there's nothing left to do but.....


I am one tired son of a gun but i cant seem to keep my eyes closed. I guess this is another thing boredom does to you. I'm so bored i cant sleep. It could be a possibility. Nirvana's Nicotine is playing on my iPod. And its 3 am.
Twisting and turning, thats the shit i have been committed to for the past hour. I think that afternoon nap i had is having its impact. But why? It was just a nap. Considering the wild night ins ive been having, i should be knackered. Enough to put me to sleep for a whole week. And i am not exaggerating. I AM TIRED!
I need a laugh! A good one! I think too much. But we all do, don't we? Maybe i just can't take another blow.

Good to know. A 10 year old boy, had eaten pineapple about 15 days back, and fell sick, from the day he had eaten. Later when he had his health check done... doctors diagnosed that he had AIDS. His parents couldn't believe it... Then the entire family under went a check-up... none of them suffered from Aids. >So the doctors checked again with the boy if he had eaten out...The boy said "yes". He had pineapple that evening. Immediately a group from Malaya Hospital went to the pineapple vendor to check. They found the pineapple seller had a cut on his finger while cutting the pineapple, his blood had spread into the fruit. When they had his blood checked...the guy was suffering from AIDS..... but he himself was NOT aware. Unfortunately the boy is suffering from it now. Please take care while you eat on the road side.

Firday the 14th

So teh tarik before Friday prayers, for the past 2 months thats what me and Apples do at our usual coffee place WYWY Sengkurong. Apples was on his way to get some cigs, the best thing to have followed with something hot to drink. While waiting for Apples, i waited for him somewhere outside the block and the first thing that caught my eye was "PIDKUP". I know right, you guys might be wondering what the hell pidkup is but once you see it you'll laugh your head's off! i know A will...


HAHAHAHA! There was another one of these flyers being distributed some while ago and i think A posted it but this one is like, "What the hell is PIDKUP??!" Well I'm sure Abbas and Ganesan would be happy that I'm promoting their flyer's on this blog Because its "CHEAP DAN BEST!" jahaha~

Owh and also, say hello to Apples's new phone, touch screen bui! Yes, he's been attached to it lately, mesmerizing on some photo he kept on it..as usual we play with our pinky finger

BAND-AID

Fred Mascherino, Taking Back Sunday guitarist/vocalist has left T.B.S to work on his solo career. When i heard about this i was kinda disappointed due to the fact that he was the "oomph" behind Taking Back Sundays' amazing sound. Since he came into the band in 2003 (replacing John Nolan, now lead singer of Straylight Run) the band has been gaining success year after year, album after album. His first video with T.B.S is for their song "you're soo last summer".

In September 2007, after wrapping up the Projekt Revolution with Linkin Park, Fred Mascherino left the band to work on his current project called The Color Fred and recently released an album titled "Bend To Break". I only have one word to describe his album... AWESOME!! =D

From the fast paced head bopping "if i surrender" to the slow, tear inducing "i'll never know", i strongly suggest that you guys and gals have a listen to the album. Some songs are reminiscent of T.B.Ss' earlier work. I guess it goes to show how much influence he had in the band. So on that note, i would like to introduce to you guys.. The Color Fred :-

Counting The Days

I have been really occupied with my assignments that i barely have time to contribute to this blog. I almost literally ripped my head off cranking myself through. Well now thats already over and done. I am able to sit my lazy ass on my couch and watch quality TV. Heheh...

The bad news is when i do nothing i.e. Sit and watch Tv. I find myself munching on food all the time... I think I've gained Weight...Well my opinion is, i guess that is how the human body respond to the blistering cold weather that we are getting here in Wales. The thought of eating is always an option to fight the cold.

Anyways... ME, Zainol, Abu, Pang, karen are counting the days till we set foot on the land of Great Sins... "Amsterdam". Yes people we are heading there to take a break from all the fuss that we have getting from College. We have exactly 9 days till this great journey begins. Its going to be a hell of a trip, So i say... =)

Well that basically is what is on top of my mind right now.. Im gonna leave u be with a thought of me and the guys heading off to Amsterdam. Here is a piece of the action.

It just hit me, that i have nothing to do everyday. I am officially missing uni, but i oath to not miss out on anything fun during these holidays. I cant afford to.

Today, the sun didn't shine as much as it should. It was raining heavily, as it hit the third quarter section of the day. If you were wondering, it was in the afternoon, when it started to pour, it felt like rocks were thrown onto the roof. I was doing fine in my task of staying awake the whole day. WELL, at least that was the plan. I got online, as usual, looking for stuff to do online. Everyone's stuck on to the 'facebook' phenomena~. I was in the middle of ignoring the ever so increasing amount of invitations. Talking about, over powering accumulation! In the process clicking on these, i fell asleep, while sitting up straight! How does that happen?! Im sure i dreamt of something which i choose to keep as a secret. Awaken by my father's poke on my muscular arms (:P). Felt like, i got super-poked on facebook!

My phone rang while i was asleep. And apparently, more than once! Wonderboy left a couple of messages. So i missed out. So he went on a date, which i was invited to~. The nerveee~. Why cant i get a date myself?? Back to fliping apples for me.

But instead, i went out with Paulo to have our meals in Supreme style.
Back to reality, i came to realise that me and wonderboy were supposed to go out shopping. Not the usual stuff boys would do, but something about today felt extravagant. Felt like someone was gonna take a leap of faith~. Well, thats always the case, 'the board of the bored' is always fantasizing on things that are marked with 'IMPOSSIBILITY'. Yes! I am the founder of that word! I have just discovered a fact. A factual statement that'll answer why do they do the 'rain dance':

IT IS BECAUSE THEY WERE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHETHER THEY COULD AVOID THE RAINDROPS AND GET OUT OF THE RAIN ALL DRY!

LAMINITY! Thats another word in 'The Bored's dictionary'. If only i could show you the faces of people who came up with the concept.
Speaking of faces, here's a face i havent seen for a while.
Didi, just got back today, and Ajy, the boy who's allergic to cameras(my ass!), took her out to sushi, and decided to go to our old hang out place, Alladin. Havent been there in a while, they serve the best 'smoke in a bottle'. "GUS! HENSEM KO ANI EH!"

I have a question. When you were in nursery school, weren't strawberries always associated to being pink? Or was it just my experience?
