World Aids Day 2007

Worlds Aids day was marked on the 1st of December 2007. The significance of he event is to give the opportunity for people all around the world to unite and fight against HIV and AIDS. It is also dedicated to awareness of raising awareness of the global AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection.

Brunei Darussalam AIDS Council will mark its version of the WORLD AIDS DAY occasion on the 6th of December, 2007. This event will be open to public with hopes to create more awareness towards the locals and will provide a chance to show individual support on the global organisations. It has been decided that the theme this year should be leadership:talk and act.

The following are details on where and when the event will be commencing:

When: 6th Dec 2007, Thursday
Time: 2.00pm to 4.30pm
Venue: ICC, Bilik 2

The guest of honour for the day will be the Timbalan Ministry of Health. In the event, there will be performances including dancing, singing and live band performances.
