My sister asked me a very good question today, and i cant seem to think of an answer to it. So i'm gonna ask all of you for the answer. Here is how it goes,
Why is it called toothbrush not teethbrush?

i agree toothbrush does have a better ring to it...
Well there isn't really a right or wrong answer to it.. Well my in opinion, its made that way..
Maybe they discovered the word "Tooth" first.. so they called it toothbrush... when they came around over the years and discovered teeth as the plural form of tooth they just didn't bother to change as it has provided census amongst all of us..
if people start calling them teethbrush.. hmmm.. i can't actually paint that picture ladies and gentlemen... its just so funny why? no one really did gave it a thought... Why? people are ignorant...
And rainbow Why is the Sky Blue... Its because of the ozone layer and somehow it made the sky blue..
Why do i even bother.. all that matter is that every single thing is God's creation...
So without Allah's help to make a toothbrush we wouldn't be brushing our teeth every single morning we wake up too.. though i noticed someone who doesn't errr...

The reason why its called so is not as complicated as you think.
The 'tooth-fairy' got tired collecting teeth~..
So she invented the toothbrush, and the main idea was, instead of the idea of paying kids for their teeth, she'll get paid for her idea :D
She thought about 'teeth brush' but she thought 'tooth brush' will give them a hint on w\the true creator~ ;) ...TOOTH FAIRY ...TOOTH BRUSH?? GET IT??:D

btw archer, the sky is blue due to light scattering by the atmosphere. the gas mixture in the atmosphere can only absorb the shorter wavelength of light,blue which then radiates down to earth :p ;p harhar yes a nerd will always be a nerd. btw, HI!

people! i have an exam in 3 hours :S and im writing this / watching friends.
You see, in the early 1800's the founder of toothbrush company who was an indian thought that they needed light at night, considering how dark they are and how often they bump onto each other's heads on their way back and to their hanging out place on a stable on top of a big drain. you can see it going on still around brunei..well, anyway the founder of this method of cleaning teeth was thoothapoo arumugam fakalatman, and brush came from the partner he got the ideas from brushmee deepdeep..hence, toothbrush.. thank you.
